too many heroes : trailer is out

Die Tanzfilmproduktion too many heroes entstand aus dem Bedürfnis, Aufmerksamkeit auf die anhaltenden Missstände in Myanmar zu richten, wo die ständige Verletzung der Menschenrechte durch die Junta seit der Machtübernahme des Militärs am 1. Februar 2021 zur traurigen Realität geworden ist.

too many heroes zielt nicht darauf ab, eine spezifische Realität abzubilden, sondern will vielmehr eskalierende Konflikte und Unruhen widerspiegeln, wie sie heute vielerorts zu beobachten sind. Ausgangspunkt des Projekts ist ein Nachdenken über unberechenbare sozio-politische Situationen, die Krise der Weltanschauungen und die Unmöglichkeit, Fakt von Fiktion zu unterscheiden.

too many heroes erhielt eine Sonderförderung des BMKOES in der Reihe „Von der Bühne zum Video“.

The dance film production too many heroes was triggered by the need to draw attention to the ongoing injustice in Myanmar where the constant violation of human rights by the junta has become a sad reality since the military seized power on Feb. 1 2021.  

too many heroes does not aim at picturing a specific reality rather than mirroring escalating conflicts or riots which can be seen in many places nowadays. The starting point of this project is a reflection on incalculable socio-political situations, the crisis of worldviews and the impossibility of distinguishing fact from fiction.
 

too many heroes received a special grant from the BMKOES as part of the series 'From Stage to Video'.
