Am 10. Oktober, feiert die dritte NETZWERK AKS Tanzproduktion in diesem Jahr im ART SPACE stift millstatt Premiere.
Unter dem Titel #paralysis choreografiert und interpretiert die langjährige Tänzerin und Weggefährtin von Andrea K. Schlehwein: Unita Gay Galiluyo ein Konzept von aks für die taiwanesische Tanzkünstlerin Jye Hwei Lin.
#paralysis beschäftigt sich mit dem gedanklichen Themenkomplex um Begriffe wie Unterbrechung / Gewohnheit / Repetition / Fermata / Neuanfang. Die tänzerische Untersuchung stellt Fragen nach einem möglicherweise notwendigen, radikalen und plötzlichen Abgeschnittensein von gewohnten Abläufen in Alltagshandlungen, um auf der Ebene der Tanzkunst die auf vielen gesellschaftlichen Ebenen ebenfalls ersehnten Momente grundlegender Veränderung herbeizuführen. Aufzuhören, um unbefleckt beginnen zu können. Innezuhalten und scheinbar Nichts zu tun als Ansatz für die Entwicklung eines bisher nicht dagewesenen Kontexts in der Tanzsprache, im Denken, im vorsichtigen Prozess, einen Neuanfang zu wagen.
On October 10th, the third NETZWERK AKS dance production of this year will premiere at ART SPACE stift millstatt.
Under the title #paralysis, Unita Gay Galiluyo, a long-time dancer and collaborator of Andrea K. Schlehwein, choreographs and interprets a concept by aks for Taiwanese dance artist Jye Hwei Lin.
#paralysis deals with a complex of thoughts surrounding notions such as disruption / habit / repetition / fermata / restart. The dance research poses questions about a – perhaps necessary – radical and sudden break from habitual patterns in everyday activities in order to induce moments of fundamental change on the level of dance, a change that is also yearned for on many levels of society. Stopping in order to enable a fresh start. Pausing, and seemingly doing nothing, as an approach to developing an unprecedented context in the language of dance, in thought, in the cautious process of daring a new beginning.
