ALICE ist eine zeitgenössische Tanzperformance, die Weiblichkeit, Zugehörigkeit und Entwurzelung durch ein kollektives Erlebnis erforscht und Raum für authentischen Ausdruck schafft. Inspiriert von der Idee des Wunderlandes – einem Konzept, das im Kontext der Gegenwart sowohl Flucht als auch Hoffnung verkörpert – begeben sich vier Tänzerinnen auf eine Reise ins Unbekannte. Sie bewegen sich durch wechselnde emotionale und physische Landschaften, navigieren durch Zustände der Aufrichtigkeit, des Zweifels und der Transformation und suchen in ihrer fortwährenden Sinnsuche nach Zusammengehörigkeit, Empathie und menschlicher Verbundenheit.

ALICE is a contemporary dance performance exploring femininity, belonging, and displacement through a collective experience that creates space for authentic expression. Inspired by the idea of Wonderland - a notion that, in the context of the present moment, resonates as both escape and promise - four performers embark on a journey into the unknown. Moving through shifting emotional and physical landscapes, they navigate states of sincerity, doubt, and transformation, seeking togetherness, empathy, and human connection in an ongoing search for meaning.

Public Moves ImPulsTanz workshop PLAYGROUND Jye Hwei Lin & Petra Peček + NETZWERK AKS 22 May . 18:45 Landhaushof Klagenfurt https://www.impulstanz.com/publicmoves/pid1626/ Diese Klasse, geleitet von Petra Peček aus Slowenien und Jye-Hwei Lin aus Taiwan, beginnt mit Soft-Moving – eine Methode, die Körper und Geist durch verschiedene Übungen aufweckt. Atem, Rhythmus und Koordination werden einbezogen und die Beziehung des Körpers zur Schwerkraft erforscht. Die Fantasie wird angeregt und die Freude an der Bewegung entdeckt. This class lead by Petra Peček from Slovenia and Jye-Hwei Lin from Taiwan starts with continuous soft-moving in order to warm up body and mind through various exercises. Breath, rhythm and coordination are incorporated as we explore the body's relationship to gravity. Engaging the imagination, we will open up to the joy of movement.
