light things + dark things 3 ist ein Tanzpoem im Setting einer Ausstellung, in der die beiden Protagonistinnen – Jye Hwei Lin und Emanuele Piras – in einer Inszenierung von Andrea K. Schlehwein in zehn Rauminstallationen unzählige emotionale Räume und narrative Fragmente kreieren.
Über die Dauer von 60 Minuten vollziehen die beiden Tänzer:innen permanente Orts-, Aktions-, Licht- und Perspektivwechsel und schaffen so ein ebenso ruhiges wie wildes Geschehen, das nach und nach Stifts- und Betsaal erfasst, und dem sich die Betrachterin, weil mittendrin, nicht mehr entziehen kann. De:installation und ein nicht mehr ordnen bares Chaos stehen als Sinnbild für den Zerfall unserer gewohnten Lebenswelt.
light things + dark things 3 is a dance poem set within an exhibition, in which the two protagonists—Jye Hwei Lin and Emanuele Piavi—create countless emotional spaces and narrative fragments across ten room installations in a production directed by Andrea K. Schlehwein.
Over the course of 60 minutes, the two dancers undergo constant shifts in location, action, lighting, and perspective, thereby creating an event that is as serene as it is wild—one that gradually engulfs the Stifts- and Betsaal, and from which the audience finding herself right in the midst of it all, can no longer escape. “De:installation” and a chaos that can no longer be organized stand as a symbol of the disintegration of our familiar world.
