Zum Gedenken an den Kärntner Bildhauer Bruno Gironcoli, der an diesem Tag seinen 90. Geburtstag gefeiert hätte, fand am 26. September auf Initiative der Kulturabteilung des Landes Kärnten und strabag.art im Kunst- und Veranstaltungsort Gironcoli Kristall in Wien das „Fest für Bruno Gironcoli“ statt. Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung wurden drei Tanz- und Musik-kompositionen unter dem Titel „17 Minuten für Bruno Gironcoli“ aufgeführt.
Die Arbeiten, die als Zusammenarbeit zwischen Andrea K. Schlehwein + NETZWERK AKS und dem Komponisten Bruno Strobl mit dem Ensemble Neuraum entstanden, erforschten komplexe kompositorische Strukturen im Zusammenspiel von Musik und Choreografie.
On 26th of September, the “Fest für Bruno Gironcoli” was held in tribute to Austrian sculptor Bruno Gironcoli, who would have celebrated his 90th birthday that day. The celebration, which was initiated by the Cultural Department of the State of Carinthia and strabag.art, took place at the art and event venue Gironcoli Kristall in Vienna and featured three dance and music compositions entitled “17 Minuten für Bruno Gironcoli”.
The works, which were created in artistic collaboration between Andrea K. Schlehwein + NETZWERK AKS and Austrian composer Bruno Strobl with Ensemble NeuRaum, explored complex compositional structures through the interplay of music and choreography.
